The food is great! You get your money's worth with large portions. The chicken wings combo and the smothered turkey wings are my favorite!

It was okay, and the only reason why I say that is because I was pregnant and had a taste for something she didn't have enough of , and if u pregnant know the feeling. So I was just about done, didn't even want what I had. But go try it for yourself.

I ordered from them off of Uber eats ..I've been ordering from Esther's Cajun cafe a lot lol I decided to try something new today n it was delicious lol Greens were cool pretty flavorful Mac n cheese delicious & the oxtails do actually taste delicious lemon cake was yummy

This is one of those places I would call "A diamond in a haystack" The service was top tier. They seemed to be short staffed but was very pleasant and apologetic. I don't mind having to wait especially telling me whats going on. You can call in a order, eat in or take out. I was going to eat in, but it was late so I decided to take out. They were out of short ribs at the time, so I ordered a wing dinner. 6 whole wings with fries or two size; I opted to take the two sides which was greens and sweet potatoes. $12.98 Best chicken wings I've had in Houston so far. The greens and the sweet potatoes were seasoned perfectly. Great service and great food!

Food was great!!!! And everyone was so nice I've been twice since moving to Houston...went 2 weeks in a row to get the Turkey neck boil they advertise and both times they didn't have it so I Was disappointed... 1st time I got Oxtails with Collards and Macncheese ... Oxtails were great, meaty and a good portion, Greens were seasoned perfectly, the Mac n chees however needs some major work...tasted like noodles and runny cheese sauce. 2nd time I did baked chicken, rice and gravy, pinto beans and green beans...everything tasted great I went as soon as they opened... the food tasted like left overs but it still was good definitely could tell it wasn't cooked on the same day tho. I also got a smothered pork chop plate with yams and cabbage over rice for later that evening... again it all tasted amazing the pork chops were huge, gravy was perfect, cabbage seasoned to perfection and yams were not too sweet but good....but again it didn't taste like it was prepared that morning Over all this has been the best "soul food" I've had since moving to Houston and I'll continue to go and grab a plate or two But I want that Turkey neck boil
